Journalist reportedly arrested in Quetta

QUETTA – Zafar Achakzai, a journalist with a Quetta newspaper was picked up reportedly by security personnel, unconfirmed reports said Tuesday.

There was no official confirmation of the incident. Achakzai is the paper’s chief reporter in the provincial capital.

His home was raided by men in plainclothes. Some unconfirmed reports said he was arrested for his social media posts.
