Jehan Pakistan Islamabad launch in Jan
Jehan Pakistan is set to expand its publishing to Islamabad starting January 1. This follows its successful launches in Karachi and Lahore, intensifying competition in the local media landscape.

ISLAMABAD: Following successful launches in Karachi and Lahore, the managers of Urdu daily Jehan Pakistan are looking to start publishing from Islamabad centre on January 1.

Preparations are said to have gathered pace especially after reports that rival Roznama Dunya is to launch their Islamabad edition on December 24.

A publication of the University of Lahore, Jehan Pakistan first hit the newsstands in Karachi in November and then appeared in Lahore earlier this month.

The management is also keen on starting a television channel besides bringing out an English language newspaper.
