ISLAMABAD – The Intelligence Bureau has lodged a complaint against ARY News and host of its program Power Play for airing a “fabricated news story” on September 25 and 27.
A Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) press release said Friday the program host alleged “initiation of a report by the IB and displayed a fake document with regard to linkages of 37 parliamentarian with militant organizations.”
PEMRA has forwarded the complaint to its Council for further action.
