INP office gutted in mysterious fire

ISLAMABAD: A mysterious fire gutted the Islamabad office of Independent News Pakistan (INP), a news and photo agency on Sunday morning.

There were reports that electrical short circuiting may have caused the fire but the employees suspected foul play.

One staff member pointed out the fire started from the reception, meaning someone had ignited it.

The INP office is located in Super Market. According to reports the fire erupted around 4:00am and burnt down everything within minutes.

The employees were camping outside the office Sunday evening.
