ISLAMABAD: The Jang-Geo Group announced Wednesday that senior journalist, anchor and analyst Iftikhar Ahmad has rejoined them.
Ahmad has been appointed Group Editor Jang Forum and Director Special Projects Geo. The announcement said viewers and readers will benefit from his analyses and columns.
He once hosted the popular program Jawab Deyh on Geo News but quit the channel to join BOL in October 2014. However, he was among the first ones to part ways almost seven months later after a scandal rocked the network's parent company Axact last year.
His signing up by BOL was termed as a "momentous victory" by the media group that never actually went on air.
He then joined Dunya News only to leave three months later.
