Hum TV told to air apology for broadcasting indecent content

ISLAMABAD - PEMRA's Council of Complaints, Balochistan has directed Hum TV to air an apology for airing indecent content.

Following a complaint, the matter was discussed at a meeting held Tuesday. A PEMRA release said the Council noted the broadcast had hurt the sentiments of viewers. It however, did not mention what the objectionable content was and when it was aired. The Council recommended that an advisory be sent out to all satellite television channels to strictly follow the code of conduct so that broadcast of unwanted content could be avoided.
