Hum TV served show-cause notice
Hum TV is facing scrutiny from PEMRA after airing content that breached broadcasting codes. The regulatory authority received numerous complaints from viewers regarding the play aired on May 21.

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) Tuesday issued a show-cause notice to Hum TV for airing content that violated the code of conduct.

PEMRA said it received a large number of complaints from viewers after the content went on air in the play Kitni Girhain Baqi Hain on May 21.

The viewers had sought action against the channel.

Hum has until May 30 to explain its position.
