ISLAMABAD – Electronic media regulator PEMRA has issued an advisory to Channel 24 after it aired foul remarks by Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah.
“They are shameless and extremely low-level people,” the minister was quoted as having said in response to a question. He was referring to Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Spokesperson Fawad Chaudhry.
The objectionable content aired in the program ‘Nasim Zehra @ 8:00’.
PEMRA advised the channel to refrain from airing foul remarks and appoint an in-house committee as mandated under Clause 17 of Electronic Media (Programs and Advertisements) Code of Conduct 2015.
