ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister Irfan Siddiqui said Monday the government and Pakistan Broadcasters Association (PBA) have reached a consensus on all points of code of conduct for electronic media. Talking to Associated Press of Pakistan in Islamabad, he said a summary will soon be sent to the prime minister for implementation of the code. Siddiqui lauded role of PBA in reaching a consensus on the code of conduct. “The PBA played a responsible role in finalizing the code of conduct draft by attending many meetings held in this regard,” he said.
