Geo creative team protests over salary delay
The creative team at Geo Television protested against management for delaying salaries for three months. Many staffers are leaving for BOL News.

KARACHI: Geo Television's creative team has protested against the management for delaying their salaries for three months. “Around 60 staffers staged a protest at the Geo office in Karachi against the management for not clearing their pending dues,” a source tells JournalismPakistan.com. He said the management has also delayed salaries to lower staff and contract employees. Almost half of the creative department employees have already left the channel and joined upcoming BOL News, he said. “Over a dozen employees of this department are also set to join BOL and are struggling to get their salaries and dues cleared before quitting,” he said.
