FC guard slaps female reporter

KARACHI – Saima Kanwal, a reporter with K-21 channel was slapped by a Frontier Constabulary guard while reporting live on the problems people faced at the NADRA office in Karachi.

A video clip of the incident that has gone viral shows the reporter at the scene. The guard attempts to stop the cameraman from filming but when Kanwal asks the camera to focus on the guard, he slaps her.

According to media reports Gulbahar Police have registered a case against the FC man for conducting aerial firing and assaulting the modesty of the female reporter by slapping her.

Reports also said that NADRA officials had submitted an application seeking registration of an FIR against the TV channel staffer for creating "hindrances in official work".
