Farhad Zaidi passes away in Karachi
Farhad Zaidi, a prominent journalist, poet, and scholar, has died in Karachi. He was influential in media and cultural circles and leaves behind a family.

KARACHI—Veteran journalist, poet, and scholar Farhad Zaidi passed away in Karachi, his family confirmed.

Zaidi was the president of All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS) and vice-president of Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi. He also served as the managing director of PTV and was an editor of a local newspaper.

He has left behind a widow and two sons.
