Fahd Husain appointed prime minister's spokesperson
Fahd Husain has taken on the role of prime minister's spokesperson. He was previously serving as the special assistant on public policy and strategic communication.

ISLAMABAD—Fahd Husain has been assigned the additional responsibility of becoming the prime minister's spokesperson.

According to a notification, "The prime minister, in terms of rule 4(6) of Rules of Business, 1973, has been pleased to appoint Syed Fahd Husain as special assistant to the prime minister with the status of federal minister, with immediate effect."

Fahd, who quit journalism recently, is already serving as the special assistant to the prime minister on public policy and strategic communication since May 14.
