Dunya News managers deny victimizing sacked duo

ISLAMABAD: Dunya News management Friday denied victimizing reporters Faiz Paracha and Fakhar ur Rehman, both of whom were sacked inside a month.

It said the two scored low in a four-layer evaluation system introduced by the managers to ensure no one was victimized. The evaluators include the director news, controller news, head office input department and bureau chief.

The management said Paracha was served three show cause notices in the last four months, a claim he denies. Rehman was also issued a similar notice directly by the channel's president, the managers said. However, he denied having received any notice.
