Dawn.com scoops up two international awards

ISLAMABAD – Dawn.com has won two awards at the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA) South Asian Digital Media Awards 2017.

The digital platform reported that the stories that earned it silver and bronze titles in the Best Data Visualization category were:

The Jang Media Group took the silver title in the Best Innovation New Product category for its Jang Real mobile app.

The awards — a joint initiative by WAN-IFRA and Google — recognize best practice innovation in digital publishing worldwide.

The winners from each region compete for the World Digital Media Awards to be announced in Berlin on October 10.
