City-focused Lahore News TV launched
Lahore News TV has been officially launched with the aim of serving the community of Lahore. The channel is part of Dunya Media Group and focuses exclusively on local issues.

LAHORE - Lahore News, promising to become the voice of the metropolis, was formally launched Wednesday across the country.

Chief Minister Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif led cake-cutting ceremony at the Lahore head office of Dunya News.

A baby of the Dunya Media Group that runs the popular Dunya News TV and Daily Dunya, the new HD channel will strive to identify issues of the people to fill the gap between the masses and the authorities, the group's website dunyanews.tv said.

Lahore News will cover stories and issues solely about Lahore, the Punjab capital. The downlink frequency for the channel is HD is 3792 MHz.
