Business Plus and Zaiqa TV face month-long suspension

ISLAMABAD – A meeting of the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) Friday approved suspension of Business Plus and Zaiqa TV channels for 30 days for not paying off their license renewal dues for several years.

It was not immediately known when the suspension would come into effect.

Business Plus, a 24-hour business news channel is run by the Media Times Group with Zaiqa TV being its sister channel that focuses on cooking.

Media Times also publishes the English language Daily Times newspaper.
