KARACHI: A district sessions court in Karachi Monday sent chief executive of BOL and Axact Shoaib Shaikh and eight others on a two-day judicial remand in the fake degrees case. During the hearing, Federal Investigation Agency investigators argued before the court that ‘concrete’ evidence was discovered against the accused during their investigations. “Abdul Rauf, the owner of a printing press who the Axact management hired to publish fake degrees, has been traced and been included in the witnesses list,” the court was told. BOL New Television is yet to be launched but some prominent anchors like Nasir Baig Chughtai, Jasmeen Manzoor and Mubasher Lucman have started live streaming their programs.
