Ayesha Bakhsh bids adieu to Geo

ISLAMABAD: Ayesha Bakhsh, one of Geo Television’s familiar faces has reportedly left the channel and could soon be joining BOL TV, insiders tell JournalismPakistan.com.

The news anchor was with Geo for more than five years during which she also hosted programs Crisis Cell, Aaj Kamran Khan Kay Saath and Laikin in the absence of regular hosts. She once worked for ARY News.

On the other hand, one of Ayesha’s colleagues at Geo, news anchor Muhammad Junaid may also take up a job at BOL, insiders say. He is currently said to be on leave.

Meanwhile, the position of Director News at Geo is most likely to be taken up by Nasir Baig Chughtai, the current Director News and Current Affairs at Abb Takk, a channel he helped launch in April.

He is also being chased by Samaa who reportedly plan to have him for their new channel Jaag News.
