Asma Chaudhry set to return to television screen

ISLAMABAD – Journalist and anchor Asma Chaudhry, away from the television screen for several months, has joined Neo where she is likely to start hosting a talk show soon.

Previously with Channel 24, she hosted the program News Point but quit more than six months ago for personal reasons.

Insiders tell JournalismPakistan.com preparations are on for shooting her promo for Neo, the channel that earlier this month faced a week-long PEMRA ban for speaking out loud against the judiciary.

Asma has also worked for the state-run Pakistan Television, DawnNews and Capital TV. During her career she covered major international events including Agra summit and the 2008 US presidential elections.
