ISLAMABAD – BOL News anchor Aamir Liaquat is set to join Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf, ARY News reported Tuesday.
A formal announcement in this regard will be made at a news conference Wednesday, the channel said.
The controversial anchor, who hosts the program Aisay Nahi Chalay Ga, was previously with MQM. He was a Member of National Assembly from 2002-2007 and served as a minister of state for religious affairs.
