Yousaf Baig Mirza joins Channel 24
Yousaf Baig Mirza has officially joined Channel 24 from Geo Network, confirming his extensive experience in media management. Insider reports suggest he will serve as a consultant at the channel, which has been operating since 2014.

ISLAMABAD - Yousaf Baig Mirza who once headed Pakistan Television has joined Channel 24 from Geo Network.

Insiders confirmed Thursday he had signed up but they were not sure about his designation. It is however, likely he will be the consultant at the channel where Arif Nizami is the Chief Executive.

Mirza has extensive experience of media management in Pakistan, having headed various private and state owned media groups in the last 15 years.

Channel 24 was launched in October 2014 as the country's first-ever current affairs based television but almost a year later its managers turned it into a news channel.
