Sana ready to return to TV screen
Sana Bucha is set to make a comeback on television with her new show Yakeen on Dunya TV. After leaving Geo TV in November, she aims to reconnect with her audience starting January 14.

ISLAMABAD: Popular talk show host Sana Bucha is to return to the television screen after a break of more than two months with her new program Yakeen on Dunya TV.

Sana quit Geo TV at the start of November where she used to host Leiken. She cited Geo as the reason for leaving the channel from where she rose to fame.

Her program on Dunya is likely to go on air January 14 - Monday through Friday - at 8:03pm daily.

Sana first resigned from Geo last June over the appointment of the controversial Dr Amir Liaquat Hussain who returned to the channel from ARY and was appointed the vice president.

She said at that time she quit “because Geo was itself going against what it taught me.” However, somehow she was persuaded to stay on but only four months later bid adieu to join Dunya.

KEY POINTS:

  • Sana Bucha's new show Yakeen will air on Dunya TV from January 14.
  • She previously hosted Leiken on Geo TV before her departure.
  • Sana resigned from Geo due to management changes and controversies.
  • The show is scheduled for broadcast Monday through Friday at 8:03 PM.
  • This marks her return after a break of more than two months.
