RIUJ condemns attempt on life of journalist Mazhar Barlas
The Rawalpindi-Islamabad Union of Journalists has strongly condemned an assassination attempt on journalist Mazhar Barlas. The incident involved an intentional targeting of his vehicle, resulting in injuries to Barlas.

ISLAMABAD – The Rawalpindi-Islamabad Union of Journalists (RIUJ) has condemned an attempt on the life of journalist and columnist Mazhar Barlas whose car was intentionally targeted.

According to a press release issued by RIUJ, Barlas was injured in the attack. The release did not say who the perpetrators were, what their motive was and when the incident took place.

The union has called for immediate arrest of the attackers.
