Gharida says she is still at Samaa
Gharida Farooqi, the host of Samaa TV's '30-Minute', has stated she is not leaving for Apna TV's new Urdu channel. She addressed rumors of her departure.

ISLAMABAD:Samaa TV program host Gharida Farooqi said Tuesday that although she had a solid offer from Apna TV's forthcoming Urdu channel, she had not joined them.

She was reacting to a JournalismPakistan.com story published Monday that said she had actually made the move. “It is wrong to say I have jumped ship; I am still with Samaa,” she said while pointing out Apna’s channel was still off air.

Gharida, who gained prominence at Geo News, joined Samaa in September where she hosts the program '30-Minute'.
