Geo hires Sr. Executive Producer Output
Geo Television has appointed M.K. Abbas as its new Senior Executive Producer Output. This move comes in preparation for the rising competition from BOL TV.

KARACHI: Geo Television has reportedly hired a new Senior Executive Producer Output as it prepares to strengthen its ranks before the anticipated arrival of an apparently mighty industry rival – BOL TV.

 

M.K. Abbas is said to be a cousin of Azhar Abbas, Geo’s former Managing Director who quit in August.

 

Abbas will be responsible for taking care of non-regular shows like Hamid Mir’s series on Karachi, Taliban and terrorism etc.

 

On the other hand reports say, that Ansari is back as input head, sidelining Ansar Naqvi who had master-minded his ouster with the help of then MD Azhar Abbas.
