Dr Aamir jumps ship, joins Express Group

ISLAMABAD: Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain of 'Aalim Online' fame has joined Express Media Group as President.

He arrives at the group from the troubled Geo TV just days ahead of Ramazan during which he will be conducting special programs.

According to The Express Tribune, Dr Aamir will also be the group editor for religious content and will edit all Islamic pages of Daily Express. His column ‘Loud Speaker’ will also appear in the newspaper.

Dr Aamir had been away from the television screen for some weeks and there were strong indications that he was pondering a move.

The Tribune said "now people will find him spreading love and harmony through the platform of Express."
