Capital TV anchor leaves, joins Aaj
Jameel Farooqui, a renowned news anchor, has transitioned from Capital TV to Aaj TV. He is also known for his column in Nawa-i-Waqt.

ISLAMABAD: Jameel Farooqui, a senior anchor with Capital TV has quit and joined Aaj TV. He made the announcement on his Facebook timeline.

Farooqui used to host the program Capital Point on Capital TV. He previously worked for several channels among them Samaa , CNBC and Express News during a career spanning 11 years. He is also a columnist and writes for the popular Urdu daily Nawa-i-Waqt. His column Gustakhi Muaaf has been a regular feature in the paper.
