Amir Mateen jumps ship, joins ARY News
Amir Mateen has departed from 92 News to join ARY News, where he is expected to lead a current affairs program. He will also contribute articles to ARY WEEKLY.
ISLAMABAD: Senior journalist and political analyst Amir Mateen has quit 92 News Television and joined ARY News where he is likely to host a current affairs program.
At 92 News he co-hosted talk show “Muqabil” along with Rauf Klasra.
A source tells JournalismPakistan.com that Mateen will also be writing articles for ARY WEEKLY, a newly-launched magazine of the group.
Mateen has worked for The News as a senior reporter and brings along over 20 years of experience working with mainstream newspapers, BBC Radio and TV channels.
He is known for his crisp writing and in-depth analyses on parliamentary proceedings and internal politics of different parties. He had joined 92 News in December last year.
