ISLAMABAD: Aamer Ahmed Khan, Head of BBC News Urdu Service in London has joined Aaj Television as Director News.

He had been with the BBC for the past 11 years and now returns to Pakistan to take up his new assignment. Before going to UK, he worked for several news organizations.

He is known for his in-depth political analysis and his articles appear regularly in different Pakistani publications.
