ARY accepts Owais Tohid's resignation
Owais Tohid's resignation from ARY Television has been accepted after two weeks of discussions. He may return to Geo Television, where he previously worked.

KARACHI: ARY Television management has reportedly accepted the resignation of its Executive Director News Owais Tohid.

Tohid resigned about two weeks ago after talk show host Mubasher Luqman made an on-air comment against him.

"His resignation has now been accepted," says an insider who termed reports of his termination in some circles as untrue. Owais was with ARY for two years. He is now likely to return to Geo Television, a channel where he once worked.
