92 News hires Fawad Hussain
Fawad Hussain Chaudhry has joined 92 News as an anchor. He will be hosting a current affairs program, with final arrangements taking about a week.
ISLAMABAD: Prominent columnist and political analyst Fawad Hussain Chaudhry has joined 92 News Television as an anchorperson where he will host a current affairs program.
Talking to JournalismPakistan.com, he said that he along with his team is working to design the program and its set. “It will take almost a week to finalize all the arrangements as we are planning to carve out a niche of our program,” he said.
Chaudhry is a lawyer by profession and has also tried his luck in politics. He served as General Secretary of Gen Pervez Musharraf's All-Pakistan Muslim League, and acted as adviser to PPP Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani.
He quit PPP after developing some differences with the top leadership in May last year and started co-hosting a current affairs program on Express News Television. Later, he also remained associated with ARY News.
