ISLAMABAD – 92 News Television celebrated its second birthday Monday with cake cutting ceremonies being held at the channel’s offices across Pakistan.
The major event took place at the Lahore head office where Hazrat Ghaus-ul-Azam Pir Abdul Qadir Jilani’s successor Khalid Mansoor cut the cake, 92newshd.tv reported.
In Islamabad, Minister for Information Maryam Aurangzeb attended the cake cutting ceremony and greeted staff while in Peshawar, Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra was the guest of honor.
Similar ceremonies took place in Karachi where Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah cut the cake and in Balochistan Chief Minister Sanaullah Zehri did the same.
92 News, Pakistan’s first HD channel, was launched on February 6, 2015 and has made quite an impression.
