PFUJ condemns attack on Jugnu Mohsin
The Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists has condemned the assault on Jugnu Mohsin during her visit to her constituency. They urge immediate action from authorities to ensure safety in the region.

ISLAMABAD—Pakistan Federal Union of Journalist (PFUJ) has strongly condemned attack on Member of Punjab Assembly and veteran journalist Jugnu Mohsin by her opponents in Akhterabad area of Okara district when she was on a routine visit to her constituency.

President Shahzada Zulfiqar and Secretary-General Nasir Zaidi demanded immediate arrest of the culprits and a probe into the incident. “It is responsibility of Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar to order an inquiry into the incident and direct the police chief to arrest those who attacked Jugnu Mohsin.”

PFUJ leadership said that lawlessness was on the rise and the administration was least bothered to provide safety and security to citizens. “Lawlessness has to be dealt with an iron hand.”
