Nai Baat Network pays staff four salaries in one month
Nai Baat Media Network has made headlines by paying its employees four months' salaries in one go. This includes wages for February, March, April, and early payment for May, coinciding with Eid celebrations.

LAHORE – The Nai Baat Media Network has left its employees surprised, paying them four salaries in one month, including advance wages for May.

The wages were for February, March, and April while that of May was also disbursed with Eid just round the corner.

The network that runs Nai Baat newspaper, Neo News and Lahore Rang Television channels drew immediate appreciation from journalist union leaders who have pressed for payment of outstanding wages in several media houses.

Muhammad Asif Butt, President of Electronic Media Reporters Association (EMRA) said that the Nai Baat Network had set an example for the Pakistan Broadcasters Association (PBA).

He called on the owners of Geo, Channel 5, Capital, Waqt News, Business Plus, Star Asia, AAP News, Royal News, and BOL News TV channels and newspapers including Jang, Khabrain, Ausaf, Nawa-i-Waqt, The Nation, The News, Awaz, Naya Akhbar and Sahafat to pay all pending wages to employees before Eid.
