Roznama Dunya prepares for Capital start
Roznama Dunya is preparing to expand its operations to Islamabad after its initial launch in Lahore. The newspaper will start hiring for key editorial positions shortly.

ISLAMABAD:  After hitting the newsstands in Lahore in September, managers of Urdu daily Roznama Dunya are now preparing to launch from Islamabad soon.


A JournalismPakistan.com source says hiring for the paper’s news desk is likely to begin in the next few days with a senior news editor and sub-editors to be appointed.

 

A reporting team is already in place in the Federal Capital and comprises Aamir Saeed, Mahtab Bashir, Zubair Qureshi, Almas Naqvi, Fakhr Durrani, Vincent David, Tariq Mureed, Azmat Malik, Amir Sial, Tariq Chaudhry, Faisal Khan, Shahzad Farooqi, Humeira Karim, Asma Yasir, Tariq Chaudhry, Aftab Mecan and Riaz Massan.


The Islamabad office of the newspaper, a Dunya Group’s publication, is housed within the premises from where Dunya TV operates.
