Karachi Press Club polls on December 27

ISLAMABAD: Karachi Press Club will hold its annual election on December 27 to elect office-bearers for 2015.

Two panels of member journalists are contesting the elections and they have announced names of their candidates for different positions.

The Democrats and Progressive Panels will be contesting the elections against each other for five coveted slots of the club including president, vice president, treasurer, secretary and joint secretary.

Two prominent journalists, Fazil Jamili from The Democrats and Anwer Sen Roy from Progressive Panel, will face each other for the slot of the president.

Seven members will also be elected for the club's governing body.
