KARACHI: Sana Faisal, host of program Khufia on Abb Takk Television, was reportedly poisoned Sunday by an unidentified teenager.
Abb Takk reported that the boy pretending to be a fan approached her and requested for a selfie and then offered her to have ice cream with him. She accepted this. Shortly after having the ice cream, Sana fell unconscious and was rushed to hospital, where doctors said she had been poisoned.
Her condition was now reported to be stable. Police have registered an FIR.
Meanwhile, according to Dawn, the SHO said Sana Faisal had gone to Peshawari Ice Cream in North Nazimabad with her husband.
On her way home, she began feeling ill and was then taken to hospital.
