ISLAMABAD: After months of preparations, Capital TV finally looks set to hit the airwaves on March 23.
The Urdu-language channel had initially planned a launch last summer but technical problems led to delays.
Reports now say the channel is gearing up for launch in March with most of the staff hiring having been done. Prominent names include Fahd Hussain, Javed Iqbal and Nasir Malik.
Capital TV is headed by Basit Sheikh, son of Ahmed Riaz Sheikh, a former official of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
