ISLAMABAD: Samaa TV’s talk show host Asma Shirazi will join DawnNews soon, sources at both channels tell JournalismPakistan.com.

 

She has won a 10pm slot, which earlier reports said, was being negotiated with Nadeem Malik of Aaj TV.  Malik is now unlikely to join the channel.

 

Asma, who hosts the program Faisla Aap Kaa had joined Samaa in July 2010. She also worked for Geo and ARY channels.

 

In July DawnNews hired eight Samaa staffers including their Bureau Chief Iftikhar Shirazi.
