ISLAMABAD – For airing a vulgar song, regulator PEMRA Wednesday issued a show-cause notice to Starlite Television.
A PEMRA release said the song was aired on June 13 and showed the channel’s complete disregard for the sanctity of Ramzan.
The channel is required to submit its reply by June 18 with its CEO directed to appear for a personal hearing the same day.
