Roznama Dunya ready for Capital launch
Roznama Dunya is set to launch in Islamabad on January 1, following delays from its original start date. The newspaper is part of the Dunya Group and previously published in other major cities like Lahore and Karachi.

ISLAMABAD: It’s now official – Roznama Dunya, an Urdu language newspaper of the Dunya Group is finally to hit the Islamabad newsstands on January 1.

Posters featuring images and quotes of the newspaper’s top columnists went up in some areas Sunday.The newspaper began publishing its dummy last week after failing to come out on the previous set launch date of December 24.

Following Roznama Dunya is likely to be another Urdu daily Jehan Pakistan, a publication of the University of Lahore that plans to start publishing from the Capital at the start of New Year.

Dunya first began publishing from Lahore in September and later from Faisalabad, Karachi and Gujranwala.
