KARACHI: The much awaited and talked about BOL News Television will be officially launched on Ramadan 1, almost four weeks from now.
In a video response to The New York Times story, Chairman and CEO of BOL Group, Shoaib Ahmed Shaikh said they have been forced by other media moguls to launch their transmission.
“We’ll launch BOL with your prayers on Ramadan 1. We’ll do this good thing, we’ll launch BOL; come what may,” he said.
He appealed to the whole nation for prayers and asking them to stand by the group against the conspiracy hatched by media ‘seths’ against BOL.
Shaikh said the government must carry out a neutral inquiry against Axact but also take notice of the propaganda being done against the group by some rival television channels.
“The government shouldn’t become part of the seth’s conspiracy … I expect the government will take notice of the media terrorization against BOL,” he said.
If my call is so important to them, why don’t they answer it for 22 minutes?
