Najam Sethi's program fails to go on air

ISLAMABAD – Geo Television’s popular current affairs program Aapas Ki Baat featuring analyst Najam Sethi was not aired Monday, promoting rumors it may have been censored.

The program is normally recorded at 7:00pm and aired Monday through Wednesday at 11:05pm. Muneeb Farooq hosts the program.

In the wake of Monday’s suicide blast in Quetta that killed 70 people in the volatile Balochistan province, it was rumored the program could have been dropped because Sethi’s comments may not have gone down well with the security agencies.

Instead of the program, Geo ran a news bulletin followed by commercials and national songs.
