KARACHI – The Karachi Union of Journalists (KUJ) has condemned the delay in payment of salaries at ARY News and urged the organization’s CEO, Salman Iqbal (pictured) to settle the matter.
“The KUJ sees the delay in disbursement of salaries as an economic murder of journalists and is seriously concerned about it,” the union’s Secretary General Fahim Siddiqui said in a letter to Iqbal.
KUJ called on the CEO to resolve the issue at the earliest so that the prevailing unrest among staff ends and their trust in the organization is revived.
