Najam Sethi joins AAP Media Network as president

ISLAMABAD - Senior journalist and analyst Najam Sethi has joined AAP Media Network as president.

"I have joined Aap/Indus Media Group as President. Will be returning, along with my chirya, to the screen in Urdu and English as soon as possible. Wish me luck in this new venture," he tweeted on Monday night.

AAP Media Network will bring two news channels - AAP News is an Urdu channel and Indus News Network an English language news channel for the local and international audience.

Until recently, Sethi was the chairman Pakistan Cricket Board but resigned after the PTI government assumed power. Before that he used to appear as an analyst in the program Aapas Ki Baat on Geo News Television. He is also the editor-in-chief of The Friday Times.
