CHARSADDA – Ihsan Sherpao, Secretary-General of Charsadda Press Club (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) was among four people shot dead on Tuesday during a jirga to resolve a domestic dispute.
Reports said that Asif Jamal allegedly opened fire when the meeting was on, killing Sherpao, two women and a child.
The incident happened in Tala Shah area in Charsadda. The assailant fled from the scene after the shooting.
Tribal News Network reported that the shooter had also allegedly killed his wife recently.
Police have started investigations.
