Hope on the horizon: Missing journalist Imran Riaz Khan's recovery expected in 10 days, assures police
Police have provided hope for the recovery of missing journalist Imran Riaz Khan. The assurance was made in Lahore High Court, highlighting progress made.

LAHORE—Police on Wednesday assured the Lahore High Court of a “good news” regarding the missing journalist Imran Riaz Khan in ten days.

The assurance came from the Punjab Inspector General (IG) Dr. Usman Anwar as he appeared before the LHC Chief Justice, Muhammad Ameer Bhatti.

Imran Riaz has been missing since May 11 this year. Muhammad Riaz registered an FIR regarding the alleged abduction of his son on May 16 by unidentified persons.

The IG told the court that positive progress has been made in recovering the missing journalist. When the LHC CJ asked him if he was asking for more days, Dr. Usman said in ten days “we will deliver the good news.”
