NYU Stern Fellowship for journalists to explore climate economics
The NYU Stern Climate Economics Journalism Fellowship aims to deepen journalists' understanding of climate economics. The next cohort will meet in New York City on September 18-19, 2025, with applications now open.

Climate change is rapidly reshaping not only the environment but also the global economy. For journalists keen on expanding their climate coverage, understanding the economic and financial aspects of climate change is crucial. The NYU Stern Climate Economics Journalism Fellowship aims to equip journalists with knowledge in this emerging field.

The Fellowship will bring a select group of journalists to NYU Stern’s Greenwich Village campus, where they will learn from globally recognized experts in climate economics. Participants will delve into key factors and the latest trends influencing climate economics and finance.

The next fellowship cohort will convene in New York City on September 18 and 19, 2025.

Applications for the Fellowship are currently open. Successful applicants will be notified by late May 2025.
