PESHAWAR - A journalist was shot dead by unknown gunmen in Dera Ismail Khan on Tuesday.
The journalist Amanullah Gharro, was traveling to Parowa area when shooters on a motorbike fired at him, killing him on the spot, police said.
The attackers fled the scene immediately.
Freedom Network said that Amanullah was associated with Janbaz, a local TV, and Mezan-i-Adl newspaper in Dera Ismail Khan. He was also the chairman of Parowa Press Club.
